MILANO

Some call it the Holy Grail, some call it the capital of their world and some call it home of fashion. Numerous people make a pilgrimage here quite often...yes, to shop! Basking in the presence of designer flagship stores, heritage sites, delicious gelato, fashion outlets, designer cafes and contemporary art, Milan provides a perfect hub for these activities. My favourite spot is the Gucci cafe in the Victorio di Emmanuel you are set with a great coffee, a plate of Gucci monogrammed chocolates and a perfect view of the worlds most famous shopping destination. Everywhere you look a sense of luxury can be felt in this stunning city. Milan can be described as having an "Extravagant taste and no obvious soul". The city is gorgeous in every aspect, the first taste of this extraordinary city is its grand and lavish architecture alongside the graceful fashion scene wishing is seen almost everywhere. Set aside the preconceptions of the city and explore the back ally's there are many emerging Milanese designer stores that can be found. I loved sitting at the window in the park Hyatt Milan eating a light meal to conclude each day of extreme shopping and sightseeing. I've always been a fan of Italian fashion and this trip to Milan was incredibly unbelievable. Definitely a must visit city for fashionistas.
